# Selling

> Sell INFERENCE for USDC on Uniswap. The reserve does not buy it back.

INFERENCE trades against USDC in a Uniswap pool, and that pool is where you sell it. The reserve sells INFERENCE but never buys it back.

## Sell INFERENCE

1. Open **Swap** on [Wallet](https://deference.si/wallet?tab=swap).
2. Sell INFERENCE for USDC, and enter how much to sell.
3. Check the rate, the minimum you receive and the price impact, then swap.

The pool sets the price. It can be above or below 1 USDC, and large sales move it. Wallet warns from 3% price impact and blocks a swap above 15%.

## What cannot be sold

Credit and free credit cannot be sold, sent or withdrawn. Activation burns INFERENCE, so sell before you activate.
