# Settings

> Change your profile, manage sign-in methods and connected apps, or close your account.

Open [Settings](https://deference.si/settings) to manage your account and the apps that can access it.

## Change your name or theme

Edit **Display name**, then press Enter to save or Escape to cancel. The name appears in the sidebar and account menu.

Choose System, Light or Dark under **Theme**. System follows your device's setting.

## Add another way to sign in

Under **Sign-in methods**, add an email, Google account, wallet or passkey. Each linked method opens the same Deference account. Remove a method when you no longer want to use it.

A passkey uses Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key. Add it here, then choose it on the sign-in page.

## Disconnect an app

**Connected apps** lists clients connected through the [MCP server](https://deference.si/docs/coding-tools/mcp), with their permissions, last use and number of keys created.

Select **Disconnect** to remove an app's access at its next request. You can also disable the keys it created in the same step. Disconnecting an app alone does not turn off its API keys.

## Find or export your wallet

**Connected wallet** shows your address with buttons to copy it and open Etherscan. Email and Google accounts have an embedded wallet marked **Email wallet**. Select **Export wallet** to open its key-export dialog. Anyone with that key can control the wallet.

## Sign out on every device

Choose **Sign out everywhere** to end all sessions and connected-app access, including this session. API keys keep working. If you need to stop them too, select **Also disable all API keys** before confirming.

## Check privacy information

**Cookies and storage** opens the [cookie policy](https://deference.si/cookies). **Prompts and responses** reads **Not stored** because Activity keeps request metadata only.

## Delete your account

**Delete account** deletes your API keys, clears your display name and email, and forfeits credit and free credit. These changes cannot be recovered. Tokens in your wallet stay there.

Type the shortened wallet address shown in the confirmation dialog. If a request is still running, wait until it finishes and try again.

Signing in with the same wallet later opens the same account with no credit. It cannot collect free credit again.
