Activity
Find a request, check its final cost, and follow changes to your credit.
Activity records requests sent to a model and changes to your account's credit. Use Requests to inspect an API call and Account to follow your balance.
Find a request
Search by request ID, or filter by Status, Model, Key or Date. The request ID is also in the response's x-request-id header. Filters stay in the URL so you can bookmark a view. Select Clear filters to start again.
Rows show status, time, model, key, tokens, latency and cost, grouped by day. The list refreshes every ten seconds while the page is visible. Load more adds the next 50 rows.
Requests appear when Deference reserves credit and forwards them to a model. A request refused before forwarding does not appear, even though its error response carries a request ID. See Errors.
Check the cost and response details
Open a row to see the request's endpoint, status, model and timing. While it runs, the cost shows Running and the credit held for it. After it ends, Estimating means the charge is waiting for settlement. Check again after a few seconds for the final amount.
A settled request has a receipt showing OpenRouter's price, its 5% platform fee and the total. Deference adds no markup. The token counts separate input, cached input, cache writes, output and reasoning when the provider reports them.
Streamed requests also show time to first token, generation time and total time. Properties include the provider, key, client, finish reason and generation ID when available.
Deference keeps request metadata, not prompts or responses. Content reads Not stored. Use Copy request ID when you need to identify a request elsewhere.
Press J or K to open the older or newer request, and Escape to return to the list.
Investigate a failed request
Copy x-request-id from the failed response, search for it, and open the matching row. Check its status and finish reason against Errors.
If there is no row, inspect the error response itself. Authentication, credit and validation errors can stop a request before it reaches a model.
Follow your credit
The Account tab lists purchases, activations, rewards claimed as credit and daily usage totals, newest first. On-chain movements link to their transaction on Etherscan. Free-credit grants, usage and expiries have separate rows.
For totals and comparisons across models or keys, open Usage.
